Missing Grade Reports

Instructions from the Office of the University Registrar for creating grade reports.

 Create a PDF Report

Navigation

OSU Student Records→Missing Grade Reports

  1. Navigate to Missing Grade Reports.
  2. Enter the appropriate Run Control ID, then select the Search button link.

     

    Critical Note

    If this is the first time you are creating a Missing Grade Report, you will need to create a new Run Control ID. To do this, select the Add a New Value tab and name the report. Select Add. You will only need to add a run control the first time you run the report. After the run control is added, you can reuse it each time you need to run the report. Select Search on the Find an Existing Value tab to locate your Run Control ID

  3. Select the appropriate values from these required fields.:
    1. Academic Institution (OSUSI will auto-populate)
    2. Term
    3. Student Population (the option to show all students has been removed due to inaccurate results)
    4. Grade Selection (missing grades will include E, I, and IX grades)
    5. Sort Option (required)
       You can streamline your results by selecting options from the remaining fields.

  4. Select the Run button link to open the Process Schedule Request page.
  5. Select the Missing Grade Report checkbox.
  6. Select the OK button link to return to the report options page.

  7. Select the Process Monitor link (located near the Run button link) to begin the process and view the Process Monitor page.
  8. Select the Refresh button link to view the current process status. Continue to Refresh until the process is finished. The process is finished when the Run Status is Success, and the Distribution Status is Posted (Queued and Processing indicate the process is still running).
  9. Once the process has finished, select the Details hyperlink from the Details column in the Process List section to open the Process Details.

  10. Select the View Log/Trace link to view the View Log/Trace page and view the available reports.

  11. Select the PDF file link to view and print the report using your browser.

Create an Excel Report

Navigation

OSU Student Records→Missing Grade Reports

  1. Navigate to Missing Grade Reports.
  2. Enter the appropriate Run Control ID, then select the Search button link.

     

    Critical Note

    If this is the first time you are creating a Missing Grade Report, you will need to create a new Run Control ID. To do this, select the Add a New Value tab and name the report. Select Add. Select Search on the Find an Existing Value tab to locate your Run Control ID

  3.  From the Related Content menu select Missing Grade Query. You may also navigate to the related content screen by selecting the red triangle in the term selection box.

  4. The Related Content section will be available with additional input fields. Select the appropriate values from the required fields:
    1. Term
    2. Enter AP for Graduating Stdts (NA equals all)
    3. Institution (OSUSI will auto-populate)
      You can streamline your results by selecting options from the remaining fields.
  5. Select the View Results button link to display the results.
  6. Select the Excel SpreadSheet link to download the file.
