To ensure smooth delivery and set-up for your event, please review and follow the shipping and receiving guidelines below.
Delivery Timeline
- Packages should arrive no earlier than four (4) business days prior to your event date and no later than one (1) business day prior to the event.
- Overnight or same-day delivery for the event date is not recommended, as carriers may not arrive at a guaranteed time. Packages are not always delivered directly.
- FedEx Ground does not deliver directly to the Ohio Union. Deliveries are made to the university’s central receiving facility and generally take an additional 24 hours to reach the Ohio Union.
- To avoid delays, we recommend using UPS or FedEx Express.
Shipping and Labeling Requirements
- All packages must be clearly labeled with the following information:
- Event name or acronym: OTDI Stronger Together IT Conference
- Company name and box count (e.g., Box 1 of 3)
- The Ohio Union Shipping and Receiving
Shipping Address:
OTDI Stronger Together Conference - April 29
(Company Name), Item __ of __
The Ohio Union / A. Gladish
1739 North High Street
The Ohio State University
Columbus, OH 43210
- If a third-party vendor is shipping on your behalf, please ensure they follow all labeling requirements.
- Failure to properly label packages may result in delays, misplacement or lost items.
Receiving and Storage Support
We strongly recommend that exhibitors and companies complete the Receiving Assistance Form prior to shipping. This form is submitted directly to the Ohio Union Loading Dock Manager.
Upon arrival, items are inventoried, stored securely and delivered to the event space near assigned table prior to set-up time.
