Why Use ScarletCanvas?

Easy to Use

The Canvas platform is an easy-to-use tool for teaching and learning, and instructors at Ohio State will already be familiar with its features.

Flexible

With ScarletCanvas, your unit will manage its own catalog, and can work with OTDI to customize the branding of your catalog and courses to promote your unit.

Helpful Features

ScarletCanvas gives your unit a convenient way to manage your enrollment and payment processes. You will also have access to reporting features for your unit's courses, enrollments and payments.

Getting Started with ScarletCanvas

If your unit does not already have a ScarletCanvas sub-account, your unit will need to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI) to gain access to Scarlet. MOUs are reviewed for renewal annually.

Currently, a flat fee is charged per unit-level sub-account each fiscal year, and there are no caps on numbers of courses or participants.
