Storing Custom Workflows Created in Power Automate

As with all content that is shared or collaborated on at the university, who and how people are accessing it determine where it should be stored.

If a workflow has been created that is only to be used personally, then saving it locally or in an individual's OneDrive account is perfectly acceptable.

If a workflow has been created and it needs to be used or shared with anyone else then it should be stored within a Team. Like all other content, when a person leaves the university, all access to content within the OneDrive account is removed, for everyone. That means no one else will be able to continue to use the workflow. By placing it in a Team then all members of that Team will retain access, even if the employee that created the workflow leaves the team.

To Move a Workflow

In order to move a workflow into a Team, or other shared location, it will need to be exported. Please see Export a Flow Solution for complete details.
