Accurate, up-to-date data stewards and approvers are crucial for the care taking and safeguarding of data. Below is the process to updating data stewards and approvers.
- Requests to change data steward or approvers for existing domains should be directed to DataGovernance@osu.edu.
- If a request is received by another team, such as Access Management or Data Engineering, the request should be re-directed to the Data Governance group email (datagovernance@osu.edu).
- Once a request is received by Data Governance, the team will review and work with the Data Governance Council to approve.
- After council approval of the change in data steward/approver, Data Governance will coordinate updates to the Data Stewards Directory and notify Access Management of the change.

- Listing of current primary and secondary data stewards as well as approver(s) is available. Ohio State login (name.#) is required.
