When building your reports, filters can be added to your report to solve specific problems or help you focus your report to give you only what you need. Particularly helpful filters are listed below.
Assignment Filters
- Assignment ID: This allows you to only report on a specific standard or dynamic assignment.
Training Filters
- Training Title: Use training title to limit your report to one or more training titles. Click the Filters button when selecting training titles to include inactive training titles.
- Training Type: Include or exclude specific learning object types to limit your results only to certain learning object types. This is useful when a learning object in a curriculum has the same or similar title as the curriculum.
- Training Latest Version?: Select yes to limit your results only to the most recent version of the learning object.
Transcript Filters
- Greatest Registration Number: Select Greatest Registration Number is Yes to show only what is currently showing on a learner’s transcript. This is useful when the same training is reassigned and helps eliminate duplicate rows from report results.
- Removed From Transcript: Select Removed from Transcript is not yes to ensure that learners who have had the training removed from their transcripts are not included in the report.
User Filters
- Division: Select a division in your filters to limit results to a certain division. Most admins are constrained to their own division for reporting purposes.
- Department: Select one or more departments to limit results to certain departments.
- Group: Select one or more groups to limit results to certain groups that you have created.
- User ID: Select User ID starts with IDM to exclude admin or other non-learner accounts from your results.
- User Status: Select User Status as active to limit results to only learners who are currently employed or affiliated with the university.
