Transition to Outlook with BuckeyePass for Email

In order to protect your personal data and that of the university, we are moving to Microsoft Outlook with BuckeyePass/Duo as the only method for accessing email from university-owned and personal devices.

These changes are part of a thoughtful, comprehensive journey to provide all email users with the tools and resources to effectively communicate and collaborate in a mobile and secure way. This transition will be completed in multiple waves.

This page provides instructions for switching to Microsoft Outlook for email access. In addition, we have provided instructions for removing your Ohio State account from other email applications.

We know change can be challenging, even when the reason for the change is as important as securing critical personal and institutional data. We are always here to help. For technical support, please contact your IT support team or our IT Service Desk.

We have also posted responses to Multifactor Authentication End User Impact Frequently Asked Questions and will continue to add to them as more questions are brought to our attention.
