This item is being shared on behalf of our Office of Student Academic Success colleagues. From 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 12 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 13, the following PeopleSoft Buckeye Link (Campus Solutions/Student Information System) services will be unavailable.

Workday has two major releases of enhancements and new functionality annually, and the next release is March 12. This update includes a new search feature on the external careers site that allows a split view so applicants can view job details without leaving the search results page.

While this will primarily impact our external job applicants, the HR community needs to be aware of the changes should they receive questions.

Changes include:

• New look and feel of the external career site starting March 12.
• Workday now appends the search filter/keywords to the end of the URL allowing for a direct link to filtered search pages, providing HR Recruiters with the ability to directly advertise specific filtered positions for their area(s).  
• The page will retain the search criteria after clicking into a posting providing a split view, whereas before, the applicant had to reenter the search upon returning to the search page.

The "Find Internal Service Delivery Lines by Cost Center" report has been enhanced to include the line-item description from the Internal Service Delivery along with all the funding Worktags used. Enhancements listed below.

• Enhancements to report output:
  • Grant
  • Line-item Description
• Adding Grant to the report prompt
• Updating the logic for costing prompts and outputs (CCH6, Cost Center, etc.) to read line splits.

The recording from the March 2 office hours session on “Organizing Your Work” is now available for viewing.

• For grants administrators: the recording and slide deck can be found in the Organizing Your Work sub-folder within the Research Reporting Office Hours folder.
• For principal investigators: the recording and slide deck can be found in the Organizing Your Work sub-folder within the PI Office Hours folder.
