As we move towards our new enterprise system, our PeopleSoft account structure will shift to Foundation Data Model (FDM) values in Workday ( enterprise-project.osu.edu/fdm-overview ). During this transformation, User Defined in the PeopleSoft account structure will be replaced with other values. To ensure a smooth transition, we are changing the process for creating a User Defined value. The request for a new User Defined value will follow the same process for requesting other new chartfield values. The form for making requests can be found here: controller.osu.edu/forms/forms.shtm#chartrequest .
The Controller’s Office will be reviewing User Defined requests to ensure they will translate smoothly during the data conversion process of the Enterprise Project.
