Coming Soon: Adobe Creative Cloud Service

Adobe Creative Cloud Service is the latest addition to our library of site-licensed software, which contains public domain or bulk purchase software that OCIO offers to the university community at no cost. Faculty and staff can access this service beginning Friday, October 5!

OCIO and Enterprise Security have implemented extra security, and have set up the service so you can log in using your existing Ohio State credentials as your Adobe ID. If you are using Adobe Spark Premium, you are already using this ID to access Spark.

Adobe Creative Cloud is a suite of integrated tools that include Spark, Photoshop, and Acrobat, just to name a few. Adobe has extensive online resources that you can use to learn more about Adobe Creative Cloud and see the full list of available applications.

Here are a few other important details you should note about Creative Cloud:

  • You may NOT store or publish restricted data in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • While Creative Cloud provides 100 GB of integrated storage for projects created on the tool, we recommend that you continue to use BuckeyeBox for general storage, since BuckeyeBox offers unlimited storage.
  • You can also use your Adobe account log in to access other Adobe mobile products that are free to the public, such as Photoshop Express.
  • LAB MANAGERS: If you are managing a Digital Union or a student computer lab, continue to use serialized licenses to provide student access to these products.

Remember, Adobe Creative Cloud will not be available until Friday, October 5. Distribution of site-licensed software varies according to the application, your department’s policies and how your computer is configured.
