Coming Soon: Use Adobe Spark Premium for Free

In April, Adobe announced that Adobe Spark Premium will be FREE for higher education institutions like Ohio State. All students, faculty, and staff can access this service beginning Friday, July 1. OCIO and Enterprise Security have implemented extra security and set up the service so you can use your existing Ohio State credentials as your Adobe ID. You don’t have to take any action to enroll; visit go.osu.edu/sparkloginhelp to find out how you can log in and begin using Spark.

You can learn more about Adobe Spark Premium using Adobe’s online resources. Spark is a tool you can use to create and share visual stories. It has a responsive design, which means that your content will be adapted to appear accurately regardless of what device your audience is using to view your projects. You can use existing templates or create your own to produce online presentations, flyers and reports.

Here are a few other important details for you to know about Spark:

  • You may NOT use restricted data in any content stored on or published with Adobe Spark.
  • While Spark provides 2 GB of integrated storage for projects created on the tool, we recommend that you continue to use BuckeyeBox for general storage.
  • You can also use your Adobe Spark account log in to access other free Adobe mobile products such as Photoshop Express.
  • STUDENTS: Although you are accustom to using your name.#@buckeyemail.osu.edu, to log in to Spark, you will need to use name.#@osu.edu.

Remember, Adobe Spark will not be available until Friday, July 1. We will post more information about how to access the tool prior to that date. If you have further questions, please contact the IT Service Desk at 614-688-4357 (HELP) or by signing in online at go.osu.edu/it.
